Prospective Peele pupils enjoy a fun evening in Long Sutton
Year 5 and 6 primary school pupils and their parents were invited to an open evening at the Peele Community College in Long Sutton.
They were greeted by Peele students who proudly showed them around the college and answered questions.
Headteacher Elizabeth Smith also gave two presentations during the evening.
It was an exciting and eventful night where the primary students took part in various activities such as creating designs in the art room and making shortbread in the food room.
Youngsters also had the opportunity to try out a new language and enjoy some French delicacies.
The English department invited students and parents to climb the tower and witness the delights of a dramatic presentation entitled ‘The Busy Railway Station’.
There were bangs, pops, flames and lots of colour in the science department and the chance to go back in time in humanities.
Pupils and parents were challenged to see how E-safe they were in the ICT department
There was Minions mayhem in maths where students helped to make 3D space rockets, and a timed agility course in the sports hall.
