Proud Wisbech cadets show off their awards

Awards have been presented to hardworking Fenland cadets.

Wisbech Army Cadet Force invited representatives of the Royal Anglian Regimental Association Cambridgeshire to make the presentation of awards.

Cpl Lynsey Alderson was promoted to sergeant after being presented with the three star Army Proficiency Certificate (APC) by association chairman Lt Col David Denson.

He also presented L Cpl Ansley Crowson with the two star APC award and badge. While Major Tom Denton presented Cdt Marek Vasko with a Heart Start Certificate, Cdt Justihas Slicas with a Heart Start and Basic APC and Cdt Travis Norman with APC Basic and badge.

Lt Col Denson said: “We are very impressed with the actual numbers and smartness of the cadets on parade.

“It very pleasing to see cadets wearing the Cambridgeshire Regiment Flash on their brazzard and their support at recent Remembrance Services organised by the Riders Branch of the Royal British Legion.”
