Pub fruit machines attacked

POLICE are appealing for information after two fruit machine cash boxes were emptied from a pub in March.

Offenders smashed through the back door of the Hippodrome in Dartford Road before emptying the cash boxes.

The burglary took place between 4.30am and 5.30am on Tuesday (August 16).

DC Nigel Coppin, who is investigating the incident, said: “I would appeal to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at this time on Tuesday to contact me.”
