Pupils had an insightful day as a primary school had a special visit from a joint 999 emergency services crew.
Gorefield Primary School had a visit from many vital services, including Wisbech Community and Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service, East Of England Ambulance Service, NHS Trust, Wisbech Neighbourhood Policing Team, and Cambridgeshire Constabulary who attended with their vehicles.
A spokesperson for the Police, said: “This is what it is all about, engagement with the kids to show we are only human and we are here to help people if they need us, and we are not scary people.”
All the kids had a great time, trying on kits, playing, and looking around vehicles – even the teachers got involved.
