A Fenland cat charity is appealing for help to re-home some of its rescued animals.
Marley has been at Chatteris Cats Protection for a few months now, but staff can’t understand why. “He is a very friendly, handsome boy, used to young children, so would make a perfect family pet,” said charity spokeswoman Julie Sant.
Marley has a long-haired black coat, which would require regular brushing.
Forever homes are also needed for females Spot, Princess and Lola. Tabby cats Princess and Lola arrived together, are devoted to each other, so need to be re-homed together.
Princess is three-years-old and loves tummy tickles, while two-year-old Lola will play for hours. The pair would suit a young family with no other cats. Black and white cat Spot is six-years-old and would make a lovely companion. She likes a lot of attention but doesn’t like to share her home with other cats.
All the cats at Chatteris Cats Protection have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and are up to date with flea and worm treatment.
Julie said: “All we ask for is an adoption fee which does not cover all of the above but goes towards it, so if people feel able to donate on top of this we are grateful.”
Details of all cats and adoption fees can be found at: www.chatteris.cats.org.uk or by ringing 03456 472 180.
