Raider flees Wisbech home after owner confronted him

A homeowner disturbed a would-be burglar during a raid in Wisbech last weekend.

A man entered a home on Elm High Road at around 8.30pm last Sunday, June 5, but was confronted by the owner of the property who heard the noise.

The man, who is described as white, in his 30s and approximately 5ft 11in tall.

He was wearing a baseball cap, a long sleeve top and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Det Con Chris Parnham, of King’s Lynn CID, on 101.
