THE speaker for March Museum’s annual Railway Evening is David Postle, Curator of the Kidderminster Railway Museum.
David Postle has been the curator at this museum, which is based on the Severn Railway, since its inception 1990 and will be showing a varied selection of views of many Fenland railway locations. Including Whitemoor Marshalling yard when it was first modernised. These photographs were until recently kept privately by the Westinghouse Brake and Signal Company.
David, who is a lifelong railway enthusiast, hopes that local railwaymen and anyone interested in railway history will come to see the show and help expand his knowledge of it.
The evening is to be held in St Peter’s Church Hall on Friday (April 20) at 7.30pm.
Admission is £3per person (Museum members £2.00) including refreshments.
