Those who paid the ultimate sacrifice will be remembered during parades on Sunday.

Wisbech Royal British Legion branch members along with dignitaries and groups will be mustering in the Market Place at 10.20am ready to march off to the memorial at 10.45am for services at the war memorial and St Peter and St Paul’s Church.

The branch will also hold a service at the war memorial at 11am on November 11.

Friends of Wisbech General Cemetery will be leading a Remembrance Walk on Sunday at the cemetery from 2pm. Meet at the chapel.

The Chatteris parade will set off from the Furrowfield car park at 2.30pm on Sunday to march off to services at the memorial and St Peter’s Church.

On November 11, the branch will hold a short service at the memorial at 11am.

The March branch is appealing for veterans and former service personnel to join in the parade which will set off on Sunday at 10.30am for a short service at St Peter’s Church. Members will then march to the war memorial for wreath laying. This will be followed by a curry lunch at the Rookswood Road club. Tickets are still available from the club priced at £2.

On November 11 the branch will march from Barclay’s Bank to the war memorial at 10.45am.
