Reward offered for lost cats

A REWARD is being offered for the safe return of two cats that escaped from a Littleport cattery two weeks ago.

Tortoiseshell cats Badgie and Bella escaped from the cattery, on the outskirts of Littleport, overnight on Wednesday, June 22.

Initially it was feared they had been stolen, but the owner of the cattery discovered the roof had become loose and the cats had escaped through a gap.

The cats are four years old, smaller than average and uniquely marked.

Owners Laura Porter and Daniel Bowman think they may have travelled quite far from the cattery by now, around the Fen area, and are asking people to check garages and sheds as they may be locked in somewhere.

Laura said: “We have had a tremendous amount of support and advise and remain positive that we will find our girls. These cats are very precious to us, we are devastated to think they are out there lost and desperately want them home.”

Laura and Daniel took Badgie and Bella to the cattery before flying to America for two weeks on a dream holiday. Laura’s parents were alerted of the cats’ disappearance immediately and have since been trying to find them.

A reward of £300 is offered for their safe return. Any information or sightings, please call 07500-773425 or 07786-986050.
