Wonder under the big top is on offer at Wisbech this week with the arrival of Mr Fips Wonder Circus.

From start to finish the show holds its audience enthralled making them laugh and gasp in equal measure as the talented array of performers wow with their extraordinary talents.

There is a real intimate, family feel to the whole show, starting when you arrive to be greeted by Mr Fips himself and also Ringmaster Senior Rose at the entrance to the big top.

From the outset the rapport between the performers and the audience is set thanks to the naughty antics of Mr Fips, who messes about with visual jokes guaranteed to make even the not so young snigger as he winds up Senior Rose.

There are mesmerising acrobatic acts using fabric aerial ribbons and silks, which hold you spellbound as the performances appear to dance effortlessly in the sky.

The comedic skills of the Brenner Clowns with their water and mud pie routine make you laugh out loud, while the illusionist and magician leaves you asking ‘how’?

And as if that is not enough the Amazing Spider Man spins in for a wow-filled aerial display of artistry and balance.

All in all Mr Fips Wonder Circus provides plenty of wonderment for all the family, which is guaranteed to send you home with a smile on your face.

The first performance was last night (Wednesday) but there are daily shows at 7pm (tonight and tomorrow) at the big top, which is located off Redmoor Lane, and then at 2pm and 5pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday.
