A cracking league title decider saw both teams playing some great football.

Josh Overland scored first for Hungate but they just couldn’t hold on. Going to penalties, goalkeeper Benji-Lewis Smith was outstanding saving three and earned not only MoM, but the league title for Hungate Rovers.

Upwell 10, Isleham 0

Upwell secured fourth place in Cambs League Division 4B with a resounding win in their final game of the season.

Jonny Allen hit the cross bar twice before Aaron Marshall opened the scoring in the seventh minute after meeting Allen’s flick on.

Marshall grabbed his second, Martin Chapman headed in from a corner, before Shane Spriggs beat the offside trap to slot home.

Danny Dowdney then got in on the act with a looping header before Jack Watson scored a brace. Wisbech Town striker Ryan Alexander was introduced and within a minute put Upwell 8-0 up.

Tyron Elms slotted home a late brace from outside the penalty box.
