ATELIER East invite the community to join them on Friday (July 27) for the special opening of their annual Summer Exhibition at Wisbech Museum.
The event is a celebration of great art, with work from talented artists across Fenland, the UK, Israel, Nigeria and America.
This is a chance to preview the exhibition before it opens to the public and there will also be a raffle, wine and nibbles and live music. Visitors are invited to vote for their ‘Best in Show’ throughout the exhibition.
“It’s free to attend and everyone has volunteered their time to make the exhibition happen, so we really hope that people will come along and enjoy the art and be inspired to get involved and get creative,” said Karen Harvey, director of Atelier East.
This is the seventh year that Atelier East have put on this exhibition for the community, having started back in 2006 at the Angles Theatre, Wisbech.
Atelier East was set up to support and promote the arts in Fenland and make taking part in arts and cultural projects more accessible for everyone.
The special opening event runs from 7pm to 9pm.
If you want to attend send an RSVP email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
The Summer Exhibition continues until September 15.
