Summer fayre in Upwell

Upwell Playing Field Committee’s annual summer fayre promises to be a busy day on Sunday.

It runs from 11am–4pm with stalls, games, a barbecue, refreshments, ice cream and a raffle.

Attractions will also include Norfolk Target Shooting Gallery, classic and vintage cars, Bourne Fun, Wisbech and District Go Karts, demonstrations by dog trainer Willow Kelly’s heel work to music, LJ’s Dance Academy, Cambridgeshire Army Cadets, Emneth White Tigers Karate and Ladies Self Defence.

And music will be provided by Andy Cuss, Upwell Sarga Louts and lots more. All proceeds from the day are for the playing field committee.

n The third horse and pony show takes place on the playing field on Saturday, July 18.

There are inhand and ridden showing classes, judges are Mike Henfrey and Carole Bartram, with rosettes for first to sixth places. See Upwell Playing Field Committee Horse and Pony Facebook page to download a schedule.
