Families can enjoy some last-minute holiday fun before the schools start back when a popular event returns to Wisbech next week.

The Horsefair Shopping Centre’s annual Summer Fun Day is being held across the centre on Wednesday, August 26, from 10am until 2pm.

Children are promised a whole host of free entertainment, with Uncle Mick’s magical Punch and Judy show performing between 11am and 1pm, balloon modelling and a spider mountain to climb throughout the day.

There will also be face painting, fairground rides and a Horse Hunt around the Horsefair challenge, where youngsters can have a go at finding horses in centre’s shop windows to win a prize.

Shopping centre manager Kevin Smith said: “The Summer Fun Day is back and it’s bigger than ever. It’s a great way to bring everyone together to enjoy the summer sunshine and make the most of family time during the school holidays.”

The day will also include live music and entertainment from street performers too. Any artists, musicians and magicians interested in performing at the event can email: info@wisbechtowncouncil.org.uk
