If you are still looking for a mane attraction for a Christmas present then an equine charity may be able.
The Magpie Centre, home of West Norfolk Riding for the Disabled Association, is hoping to raise money for its important work by offering pony sponsorship packages.
The centre, which is based at Wallington Hall, has been helping to change the lives of people with a range of disabilities over the last 30 years with its riding and carriage driving lessons.
A spokeswoman for the centre says pony sponsorship for a year would be an ideal Christmas gift.
She said: “This is a really fun way of supporting the work of West Norfolk Riding for the Disabled Association’s work, and will make you an extra special member of the Magpie Centre ‘family’.
“It also makes the ideal gift for youngsters who cannot have their own ponies.
“Best of all, you can now do it right now, online, using a credit or debit card.”
The centre currently has sponsorship packs available for three of its 12 equines.
Blue, a small Welsh pony who is suitable for the tiniest riders is among the ponies.
Traditional cob Shannon, who used to give carriage driving lessons, but now caters for a wide range of riders, is also available for sponsorship along with Ruby, a big black and white Irish mare, who happily carries the taller adults is the final horse.
Silver sponsorship costs £12.50, including photo, certificate and factfile, while gold sponsorship, at £25, offers a larger photo and keyring.
