MURDERED teenager Alisa Dmitrijeva lived in Wisbech with her father, grandmother and little sister Victorija but was a schoolgirl at the Cromwell Community College in Chatteris.
It is understood she attended the Chatteris school after being allocated a place there by the county’s Local Education Authority as there was no space for the teenager at the Thomas Clarkson Community College in Wisbech.
Cromwell Community College principal Jed Roberts confirmed Alisa studied at his school for just three months between March and June 2010.
In a statement he said: “While with us, Alisa came across as a delightful person who worked very hard to improve her standard of English.
“She left us to take up a place in Further Education. It is always tragic when a young life is lost. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to her family at this very difficult time.”
