Tip-off sees police arrest teenager in Wisbech on drugs charges
A tip off to police led to a 16-year-old boy being arrested for possession of drugs with intent to supply in Wisbech.
Fenland police posted on their Facebook page about the incident and said: "Some great work by the neighbourhood team yesterday (Thursday) when they went out hunting based on intelligence they have been receiving about drug dealing in the Wisbech area.
"A 16-year-old male from Wisbech was arrested for possession with intent to supply and as well as seizing a quantity of drugs two BB guns were also seized. The male was interviewed and has been released under investigation.
"Please keep the intelligence coming in. This proactive work will continue with your local teams out there targeting those individuals who are causing harm to community.
"You can submit intelligence via our website and although you may not see anything straight away the intelligence you submit may be just what we need to take positive action."
