Burglars have stolen £1,300 worth of tools during a raid on a Wisbech property earlier this month.

Thieves broke into the property in Harecroft Road overnight on October 22.

The burglars smashed a ground floor window to get into the property.

Police are now asking people to keep an eye out for the tools.

One item taken was a silver Makita compound mitre saw which has numerous pen marks across the gauge.

Police say these marks are unique to the saw.

Other items which were stolen include a set of combi aluminium ladders and a black and grey Magner tool pouch.

The haul also included a large black waterproof style bag with a small red logo and a black Titan hammer drill.

Det Con Shelly Reeve, who is investigating the case, is appealing to the public for more information in finding the tools.

She said: “I would urge anyone who has been offered any tools they believe to be stolen, or who has any information regarding the theft to call us.”

Anyone with any information should contact Det Con Reeve on the 101 number.
