Town prepares for St George
March gears up for St George’s Fayre
The town is gearing up for its seventh annual St George’s Fayre which is being held in the town centre on Sunday, April 26.
The busy High Street and Broad Street will be closed to traffic to make way for a bustling street market and fun fair, promising something for the whole family to enjoy.
Don’t miss the opening parade at 10.45am into the Market Place in celebration of England’s patron saint, followed by live music and dance performances until 4pm.
There will also be a wide variety of free entertainment – from Punch and Judy shows, to circus skill workshops.
The event is one of four Four Seasons events organised by Fenland District Council, with support from a committee of volunteers and March Town Council.
