Traffic on the A14 was at a standstill this afternoon following a crash on the Eastbound carriageway at Godmanchester.

There were long delays in both directions after the collision on the eastbound carriageway involving a lorry and a car took place at 3.12pm.

Police attended the scene to arrange recovery of the vehicles.

Queues stretched back up the Alconbury Spur and to Brampton Hut westbound and back to Hemingford Grey westbound.

The scene has now been cleared and all lanes reopened.
