Pedestrians killed on the A47 at Terrington St John

Two pedestrians were killed following a collision with two cars on the A47 yesterday (Sunday, July 20).

A silver Kia and silver BMW 116 were involved in the collision with the man and a woman on the dual carriageway close to the petrol station at Terrington St John at approximately 2.15pm.

The pedestrian were walking in the Lynn direction, died at the scene. No-one else was injured in the collision.

The whole of that section of the road has remained closed since the incident.

Both carriageways will reopen shortly.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or saw the pedestrians or vehicles immediately prior to the collision. Witnesses are asked to contact Norfolk Constabulary on 101.
