Members of a Fenland group have paid tribute to their late chairman.

David Setterfield, 70, of Gloucester Court, King’s Lynn, died at April 3 after a short illness.

Mr Setterfield is well-known as chairman of the Breathe Easy Wisbech group.

Project development officer Julie Hodder said: “Living with a lung condition, David understood the impact this can have on people’s lives and wanted to help change this for the better.

“Since 2012, he worked tirelessly to establish and lead Breathe Easy Wisbech as its chair. During this time many people living with a lung condition and their families have benefitted from attending the group, particularly the warm welcome, friendship and support that was so freely given.

“He will be much missed and our thoughts are with his family and everyone who knew him.”

David was nominated into the Pride of Fenland awards.
