Tributes to Manea teenager killed in Christmas Bank Holiday crash
The family of a teenager killed in a crash on Bank Holiday Monday (27) have paid tribute to him saying he will be sorely missed.
Kelso Lawrence, 19, died in the single vehicle collision which happened just a mile or so from where he lived on Byall Fen Drove, Manea.
Officers were called to the single-vehicle collision involving a silver Peugeot 206 on Byall Fen Drove at just after 2am.
They attended together with firefighters and paramedics, but the driver of the car, 19-year-old Kelso who lived on the same road, died at the scene. Two other passengers in the car were uninjured.
Kelso’s family have paid tribute to him in a statement which reads: “Kelso will be sorely missed by all the family, his son and his many, many friends. We respectfully ask for privacy at this difficult time.”
Dozens of friends have paid tribute to Kelso on his Facebook page.
One person wrote: "Rest easy my guy, you’d never fail to brighten up anyone’s day, I’m thankful for the hours we spent together and the times we had, gonna miss you Kelso."
Another said: "Rip Kelso one of the most kind people I know, always had me laughing."
And another said: "Oh my goodness, he’s one of the funniest, sweetest kids I know! R.I.P rest easy kiddo."
