Wisbech was a flurry of activity on Thursday as everyone got in the “spirit” of things for Halloween.
The popular Horsefair trick or treat event, which has been running for six years, did not disappoint with hundreds of children dressed in ghoulish and gruesome costumes.
They got to do free trick or treating in the Horsefair shops and there was a fancy dress competition, as well as a dance show from Kelly’s Dance Crew.
The popular Spider Mountain challenged youngsters to tackle its tangled web and for the little ones, there was a free fairground ride. Tying in with the theme of the day, there were even live owls for the children to get up close and personal with.
The party continued after the event with a children’s disco in the Wisbech Institute and for the adults, the Market Place was transformed into a Moon Market.
Stalls, games and live music made the We Are Wisbech-organised event go with a bang on the spookiest night of the year.
