Climbing spider mountain and meeting witches owls are some of the spooky fun on offer in Wisbech.
The annual Halloween celebration at the Horsefair Shopping Centre, which runs from 3pm to 5pm on Friday, is set to be bigger and better than before with more than 40 stores taking part.
Youngsters will be able to pick up a map of stores taking part in the trick or treat event from the centre information office. Children will receive a treat from participating stores.
Other activities include balloon modelling, a fairground ride and climbing spider mountain.
Fenland Exotics will be on hand with their creepy creatures and there will be some witches’ owls. Visitors can have their portrait taken against Kodak’s “Wall of Blood”. The Wisbech Lions Club will also have a special stall full of Halloween treats.
Under 15s, accompanied by an adult, who arrive in fancy dress can enter a free best costume competition that will be judged by the town Mayor of Wisbech outside the Co-op at 4pm.
Centre manager Kevin Smith said: “Our Halloween event is always very popular and we’re all really excited about this year. We want to offer youngsters a safe environment to Trick or Treat in, instead of them going out at night”
Shoppers can browse the stalls of the Wisbech Moon Market which will take place from 5pm to 8pm on the market place.
Children’s Halloween Disco will also be held at Wisbech Institute. Tickets for the disco are available from the Cat’s Pyjamas Emporium on Union Street.
