Fancy trying your hand at song writing, rap or poetry?

There’s a special workshop coming up at March Library led by the multi-talented Xidus Pain.

The lyric workshop for 11-16 year-olds is being presented by Arts Alive in Libraries and runs on Monday, August 24, and Tuesday, August 25, with a performance on Thursday, August 27.

On August 24 and 25 it runs from 10am-noon and 1pm-3pm (bring your own lunch).

On August 27 there will be an afternoon performance for friends and family.

The lyric writing workshop is free and covers rap, poetry, rock and spoken word.

No matter what genre of music you enjoy, these workshops will inspire you to write.

Ask at the Library in City Road for an Expression of Interest form.
