Tumble dryer blamed for building fire at Murrow

On Friday (13) at 1.59pm a crew from Wisbech and one crew from March were called to a building fire on Inhams Close, Murrow.

Crews arrived to find a tumble dryer fire in conservatory that had spread to the house and adjacent property.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used two hose reels, and two jets to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 4.35pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
