Two arrested in Downham Market over hare coursing

Two men accused of hare coursing have been arrested.

Police were called to Feltwell Road, Southery, at around 2.40pm yesterday (Tuesday, March 1) after receiving reports of hare coursing.

After an extensive search, and with the help of the National Police Air Service and dog units, two men were arrested in connection with the incident.

Additionally, a vehicle and four dogs were seized.

A man in his 40s from Cambridge and a man in his 20s from Romford, Essex were arrested and taken to Kings Lynn Police Information Centre (PIC) for questioning.

They were later released on police bail pending further enquiries until Sunday, April 20.
