UPDATE: A1101 near Wisbech remains closed after serious lorry fire

The A1101 between Wisbech and Newton remains closed this morning following a lorry fire last night.

The blaze, which engulfed the entire vehicle at Four Gotes, has been extinguished, but the road needs resurfacing before it can be reopened.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

Cambridgeshire County Council Highways are now at the scene to begin resurfacing work.
