Cambridgeshire police are investigating two unexplained deaths after a male and a female were found in the rear of a BMW in Flood’s Ferry.
The bodies were reported to the force by the member of the public at 11am on Saturday (June 9).
Firefighters from March and Chatteris were called to the scene at 11.48am to reports of a car fire already out.
A spokeswoman for the service said there was fire damage inside the car.
Police have not commmented on the circumstances behind the deaths, including the possibility of suicide, only to say they were not being treated as suspicious.

“Officers attended and two people were confirmed dead at the scene. The deaths are not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed to the coroner.”
Further details as to the identity of the male and female have not been released and a post-mortem has not yet been carried out. Formal identification is expected to be made toward the end of this week.
