WISBECH freeman and Paralympic medallist Jody Cundy will be making a special tour of the town on Friday, October 5.
Schoolchildren around the town will get a chance to meet the bronze medallist as Jody tours local schools on George Dunlop’s 1930s fire engine Vivien.
Schools on the list include: Elm Road, Nene, Ramnoth, Clarkson, St Peter’s and Peckover.
Although he won’t get to spend much time at each location, it will give youngsters an opportunity to meet a Paralympian hero.
Following his whirlwind tour of Wisbech, Jody will be the guest of honour at a special reception at Wisbech council chamber.
