Villagers urged to complete survey

RESIDENTS in Manea are being urged to help shape their village’s future by completing a special action plan questionnaire.

Copies of the survey, which has been drawn up by Manea Action Group on behalf of the parish council, is currently being distributed to every home in the village.

It contains pages of questions on a huge array of subjects from education to public transport and other amenities and asks what people think of the village and what they would like to see improved.

Once complete the forms can be dropped off at collection points around the village. These are located in Londis, Rumours Cafe, the Rose and Crown pub and the doctor’s surgery.

Banners reminding people of the return date of September 8 are set to go up to make sure everyone remembers to have their say.

There is an online version for those who prefer it, which can be found at

A business questionnaire, which can be requested via email (at the beginning of the on-line version), is currently being finalised. It is hoped the great variety of businesses based in Manea will respond to this as it will ultimately help influence future decisions to aid business growth and development within the village - all part of ‘Mapping the Future for Manea’.

If anyone has any queries, or needs help in completing the questionnaire, please contact Pete (in complete confidence) on 01354-680455.
