West Norfolk Riding for the Disabled Association has put out an appeal for more volunteers to help out at the Magpie Centre in Wallington Hall.

The centre is looking for helpers of all abilities ranging for DIY enthusiasts to cake makers.

But the group is especially keen to recruit more volunteers to help with the rides.

Helpers are needed to lead quiet ponies, walk alongside to help riders maintain balance, or to accompany carriage drives on a bicycle. Full training will be given by staff at the centre.

The centre has been running for more than 30 years and gives 90 riding and carriage driving lessons a week to people of all ages and abilities

If you can help for a couple of hours a week call 01553 810202.
