Friday, December 5

• After Hours presents Daughters of Davis, Octavia’s Café, South Brink, Wisbech, 7.30pm, free admission.

• Christmas Tree Festival, Marshland St James Methodist Church, 10am-4pm.

• St Augustine’s Church Christmas Tree Festival, Wisbech, 10am-4pm. Cobbs Country concert at 7.30pm tickets £5 at door or to book call 07874 245683.

• Trinity Church, High Street, March. Today and tomorrow, 10am-4.30pm. Festival of Angels: displayed in different materials in different ways. Entry by programme £1. Refreshments. Knitted Xmas tree also on display.

• Xmas Bazaar, St Peter’s School, Wisbech, 3.15pm-4.15pm. Selection of stalls and tombola. Refreshments, hot and cold drinks, cakes and sweets, festive tattoos and face painting. Organised by Friends of St Peter’s School.

• March Brass 2000 play festive music and carols at Roman Catholic Church, March, at 7.30pm.

Saturday, December 6

• Chatteris Library, Christmas Craft Activity 10.30am -11.30am. For children aged three years and over, £1 per child. All children must be accompanied.

• St Mary’s Church, Westry, 7.30pm, performance by singing group Posh Harmony, directed by Sarah Edwards. Entrance £5 to include interval refreshments. Tickets from Johnson’s, Dartford Road or Philpott’s, Darthill Road, or on the door.

• Christmas Tree Festival, Marshland St James Methodist Church, 10am-4pm.

• St Augustine’s Church Christmas Tree Festival, Wisbech, 10am -4pm plus festive fayre stalls in Parish Centre hall.

• Catholic Church Christmas Bazaar at St Peter’s Church Hall, 10 am-2pm. Stalls, including cakes, bottles, tombola, gifts, raffle and lots more. Children can meet Santa and receive a gift.

• Upwell Christmas Charity annual buffet dance at Upwell Hall, 8pm-midnight, chicken and chip supper, dancing to Sounds Familiar, tickets £15, all proceeds to the Raymond Dent Log Cabins for cancer patients’ families, Shouldham Ward, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn. • Christmas shopping fair, St Peter’s Church Hall, March, 10am- 2pm. Stalls with great gifts for Christmas, plus tea, coffee and mince pies as well as a raffle. All proceeds from the tea, coffee and raffle sales will be donated to Cancer Research UK.

• Christmas fair, St John’s Church, Station Road, March, 11am-2pm. Crafts and gifts, glass blowing demonstration, refreshments, carol singing by the Church Choir and the Junior Church Choir. Father Christmas will visit. Ten per cent of the proceeds from the Fayre will be donated to world mission.

• March Brass 2000 carols at The Horsefair, Wisbech, 10.30am.

Sunday, December 7

• Light Cinema, Charity Movie Event, singalong and fancy dress, £10 includes present, featuring Santa and elves, starts 9.30am. Details 07719 186273.

• St Augustine’s Church Christmas Tree Festival, Wisbech, 8.30am-noon, carols and readings amongst lighted trees from 3pm.

• Elme Hall Hotel, Brent Hutchinson Band, rock band from Portsmouth. Doors 3.30pm. Families welcome, free admission for accompanied under 14s. Adults £3. Free admission for hotel residents and Sunday lunch diners.

• Carols with Manea Silver Band; hot drinks and mince pies at the close, 6.30pm.
