Youngsters at a Wisbech primary school will be heading to Duxford Museum after winning a maths challenge.
Alex Martin, Thomas Green, Luka Harewood and Dillon Neave, from St Peter’s Junior School, are over the moon having won a round of the Cambridgeshire Year 5 Maths Challenge on May 5.
The boys competed against nine other schools during the event which was held at Orchards Primary School.
The competition involved word problems, estimating number and using memory skills and quick recall of mathematical facts.
The boys will be taking part in the final on July 2, which will be held at Duxford Museum.
St Peter’s School teachers were delighted that their team came first and praised the boys for all their hard work and effort during the school year and are looking forward to competing in the final.
