Wisbech brewery bids farewell to Herbert after 45 yeras

Herbert Kirk has called time and retired after more than 45 years at a Wisbech brewery.

Elgood and Sons said a fond farewell to Herbert and he was presented with gifts from the staff and directors, as well as a framed photograph. Herbert joined the North Brink brewery in June 1969 and had worked in most areas over the years, including going out as a drayman’s mateon occasion. His last position was as a general worker in the brewery and warehouse, but he had to stop due to health reasons.
