Eighteen Brownies from the 3rd Wisbech Brownie group have been thinking about animal care and how they can help.
They have been collecting tins of animal food and have knitted squares to make eight blankets for the RSPCA rehoming centre at Block Fen. They were visited by Kirstyn Gaunt, deputy manager of the centre and Emma Smith, reception supervisor, who talked to the girls about their work with animals and answered their questions. The Brownies handed over gifts of food and blankets and plan to visit the centre in the future.
