The Horsefair Shopping Centre is getting involved in Wisbech Arts Festival by giving shoppers an opportunity to take part in a conundrum challenge.
The Horsefair is running a crafty conundrum competition; various letters which make up one word will be jumbled in the window of the centre’s former Burton/Dorothy Perkins store.
Anyone who thinks they can solve the conundrum, which is a Wisbech themed word, needs to either write it down, along with their name and contact details and post through the centre manager’s office door, which is next to the Kodak store on the bus station. Or entrants can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. A £50 Argos voucher is on offer for the first correct entry drawn from a hat.
The conundrum will be on display at the Horsefair two weeks prior to the start of the festival opening from Saturday, 27th April – Friday, 24th May and the winner will be announced on the festival’s closing ceremony on Sunday, 26th May.
Horsefair manager, Kevin Smith said: “The letters that make up the conundrum have been created by local craftspeople who have made them from a variety of different materials.
“I’m pleased that the centre is getting involved in this year’s Arts Festival and I hope our shoppers will enjoy having a go at working out the correct word!”
Wisbech Arts Festival runs from 14th – 26th May.
