A gruelling assault course did not deter brave staff at a Wisbech estate agents, who have raised £969 for a children’s cancer charity.

A team from William H Brown took on the Insane Terrain challenge in Cambridge on September 27 to raise money for Clic Sargent. Team leader, Steve Bowles managed to rally a team of 11 employees through his weekly e-mails. Money raised by the team will go towards helping youngsters who are battling cancer. Catherine Cadman, fundraising manger at CLIC Sargent, said: “What an amazing job.

“Not only did they take on this challenge and finish successfully, but they raised such a huge amount, so it’s a massive thank you from me on behalf of CLIC Sargent. “I would particularly like to thank Steve- his ever positive, encouraging and supportive emails were truly a pleasure to read. ” The team from the Wisbech estate agents are pictured with their medals after the challenge PICTURE: SUPPLIED
