A 39-year-old Wisbech man is due in court to face two separate charges of driving while disqualified.

While Philip Burns was before magistrates in King’s Lynn on Thursday on four motoring matters, it came to light that he had also been summonsed for three identical offences.

Burns, of Newbridge Lane Caravan Park, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, having no insurance, no test certificate and driving otherwise than in accordance with his licence. All relate to him driving a Ford Focus in Raby Avenue, King’s Lynn, on February 20.

He is also charged with driving while disqualified, having no insurance and no test certificate in a Vauxhall Cavalier in Queen Street, Wisbech, on August 4.

The most recent matters are due to be heard on November 21 and the four to which he has pleaded guilty were adjourned to tie up with them.
