Wisbech Park is looking blooming lovely thanks to the efforts of teenagers.

ixthform students from Meadowgate School were helping Wisbech in Bloom members to help plant up a large flowerbed in the park. For some of the students, this was their first taste of gardening and for others it was an experience to add to their horticultural experience. A school spokesman said: “ All the students said that they had really enjoyed it and would like to do more planting with the Wisbech in Bloom team. This is a great opportunity for the students to get involved with their local community and they will return to the flowerbed in the summer to see how the plants have grown.” PICTURE: SUPPLIED
