Pioneering students at the College of West Anglia have been helping to shape the future of a major company.

The college’s Level 3 Mechanical and Electrical Engineering course has been sponsored by Anglian Water.

Students were tasked to present their vision for the future of the company in a ‘Dragon’s Den’ setting to the @one Alliance Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) team.

The presentation gave teenagers an opportunity to work as a team along with improving their presentation skills.

Youngsters have been working on the project since January.

David Newsome, who is looking to develop the courses, said: “The students worked well in teams, presented very passionately, and impressed the PLM

Working Group.

“The PLM dragons posed challenging questions and the students answered positively. These ideas will now be fed into the next PLM working group and will help shape the Anglian Water @one alliance PLM future.” The students are photographed above. Picture: SUPPLIED
