A Wisbech surgery has raised hundreds of pounds for the two good causes.

North Brink Practice hosted four charity coffee mornings alongside its Saturday Flu Clinics.

The events raised £514.11 for the Teenage Cancer Trust and £100 to Nurse Practitioner Tamsin Ford who is raising money for the My Blue Heart swim the channel event, in memory of Shannon Corr, who sadly passed away from bone cancer a year ago at the age of 19

Staff volunteered to make cakes and biscuits for the clinics.

During the main flu clinic campaign, the practice was also supported by volunteers to hand out free “Winter Warmth Packs” via Age UK and Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Services.

Flu vaccinations and these packs are still available for patients who present in the practice for their annual jab.
