Wisbech theatre showcases young talent
A stunning performance was given by young actors, singers and dancers.
Ratzcool, the Angles Theatre’s theatrical arts school, put on its annual showcase on June 12 and 13.
During the year, youngsters at the Wisbech theatre learned a variety of songs, dances and acting styles based on four themes – Greek Theatre, Victorians, 1920s and 1950s.
Zero to Hero from Hercules featured in Greek Theatre, Oliver and The Importance of Being Earnest were used to cover Victorians, the Jitterbug, silent movies and All That Jazz demonstrated a range of elements in the 1920s and, not surprisingly, Grease featured in the 1950s.
The students, aged between five and 16, came off the stage buzzing with enthusiasm and looking forward to their next event.
