There were two arson attacks in Wisbech last night (Wednesday).
The first one occurred at around 7.20pm when firefighters were called to hedgerow on fire at Bramley Road.
When they arrived, they found the hedgerow and a shed well alight and the blaze was in danger of spreading to a nearby fence.
The fire crew from Wisbech fire station used one hose reel to put out the flames and returned to base by 8.40pm.
At 10.10pm, two crews were called out to nearby Coldhorn Crescent where a garage had been set on fire.
The three-metre by four-metre garage was in a block of adjoining garages at the junction with Waterlees Road.
After putting out the fire, crews returned to base by 11.25pm.
Both of these fires are believed to have been started deliberately and anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
