Woman injured after ceiling fall in Wisbech

The air ambulance was called to Wisbech this morning (Thursday, August 20) after a woman fell through ceiling panel of a stockroom.

The woman, who is in her 30s, suffered a suspected pelvic injury and was taken by land ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.

The Magpas Helimedix was called to the incident at 10.45am.

The helicopter was manned by Dr Nick Foaster and paramedic Jo Lambert along with pilot Richard Eastwood and crew member Steve Hunwicks.
