Woman left shaken after youths tried to rob Upwell home

A woman was left shaken after a youth forced his way into her Upwell home.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a two teenage boys tried to rob a home in School Road, at 4.45pm on Saturday, November 15.

The woman refused entry after the youths knocked on the door but one forced his way in, pushing the woman.

He made a search of the kitchen while the second man stood at the door before leaving empty handed. The woman was left shaken though physically unharmed as a result.

A small three-door white or silver hatchback car was seen in the area at the time and police are keen to hear from anyone with information about this or the offenders.

The first man is described as approximately 17 years old, 5ft 6in tall with a stocky build. He was clean shaven, had light coloured hair and was wearing a dark or navy zip-up top. His accomplice was slightly younger, shorter and with a skinny build. No further details are available at this time.
