Woman treated after horse incident

A WOMAN in her 20s was taken to hospital after being kicked in the face by a horse.

The Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nick Foster and Paramedic Simeon Tomlinson) flew to a field on the outskirts of Emneth, in the Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance and arrived at the incident at 5.25pm.

When the Magpas team arrived, they assessed the patient, who suffered minor head injuries and was awake. The Helimedix then administered strong pain relief, before she was taken by land ambulance to he Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn. She was in a comfortable condition on arrival.
