WITH regard to the Cuts Debate letter from Reg Kemp (Citizen March 16). Reg Kemp has got it wrong.

1. Councils are still allowed to increase Council Tax. As people will have seen from their Council Tax bills Fenland District Council decided not to.

2. Fenland tourism businesses have huge potential for job creation. Many more people use the Internet to arrange holidays - that’s why Fenland Council must invest in a new website as part of a new tourism strategy.

3. Touch screens for tourist information are being provided by developers at no cost to Fenland Council.

4. Fenland Association for Community Transport (FACT) already does an outstanding job providing transport for all March residents – as it does throughout Fenland.
