I FEEL strongly about what the coalition are trying to do to ‘our’ NHS.
I say ‘our’ because it doesn’t belong to a government or politicians. It belongs to us, all of us have paid for it with our taxes and NI contributions. As far as I’m concerned, the government hasn’t got a mandate to push forward the universally-hated NHS reforms.
It was going to cost £1.8 billion to implement while axing 6,000 nurses - all this so the private health care and others can have a piece of the cake. I don’t deny that the NHS needs fine tuning and some problems need sorting out.
